Freeview “More for Me” Campaign

Freeview were offering viewers more channels, and better viewing options, we kept the campaign on a grass roots level and best of all – true. The concept also has longevity, as the “more for me” concept can be used whenever there is something new to launch for Freeview not just content.

A monster effort in a very short space of time. We had just over one month to put this campaign together. This is the brand spot. There are 4 spots all together.

The concept is simple. Freeview’s slogan is “More for Free”.

So we got people from all walks of life telling us “more for me”.

Freeview  were offering viewers more channels, and better viewing options, we kept the campaign on a grass roots level and best of all – true.

The concept also has longevity, as the “more for me” concept can be used whenever there is something new to launch for Freeview not just content.

As far as the shoot went – we shot over 50 people over the space of 4 days – 2 days in Sydney and 2 half days in the Kiama area and Tamworth. I didn’t meet the people until we got to the location we were shooting at. I had about 20 mins with them to work out how to shoot them to make them feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Cutest moment – shooting the kids at the pool. Hottest moment – on the train station in Tamworth  – over 40 degrees.

These spots wouldn’t be possible without the help of Donna from Capitol, and Tom Gleeson’s wonderful camera work.
