This little comedy is my first adventure into short film. I had just come off a directing attachment for a TV series. I used ‘Bluey’ as an exercise to try and shoot it all in one day. The idea of ‘bluey’ came from an idea that I had while I was at a director’s short course at NIDA.

Shondelle Pratt stars as the accident prone nurse, teeth were provided by the TAFE Dental college and it was all shot in a nursing home in Annandale. The DOP was Martin Spratt.
